There are two pubs with a weekend late night license in Abingdon, one is The Grapes; this was renovated in 2004 and is now one of the classiest establishments in town, it is also one of the most expensive, yet has free entrance and the best selection of cocktails and shooters/shots available in the area, including favorites such as Dr Pepper and Last Man Standing.

Another Abingdon pub with a late license is the Nags Head on The Thames, this has also been renovated and is now a more modern bar. Both the Nags Head and The Grapes are very popular in the summer due to their pub gardens and are open until 12am and 1am respectively on Friday and Saturday nights.
