Abingdon is home to the longest street fair in Europe which is always very popular with the locals, featuring all the newest rides and stalls. The Abingdon fair comes to town once a year during the second week of October and takes place along Ock Street and in the town centre market place.

The White Horse Leisure Centre has facilities such as swimming, indoor and outdoor tennis, gym, aerobics classes, sauna, steam room, solarium and a sports hall. If you plan on using the Abingdon leisure centre regularly I would recommend becoming a member as this is good value for money and the prices for each visit are quite expensive.
